UNESCO... new Year's greetings ceremony

H.E. Mrs Bakayoko-Ly, Ambassador, Permanent Delegate of Côte d'Ivoire to UNESCO, received New Year's greetings from her colleagues on Friday January 4, with a speech by Mr Kouadio Nanan Kouassi, Minister-Counsellor, on behalf of the Institution's staff.
The Ambassador in turn took the floor to express her gratitude to the staff for their greetings and the kind words that had been spoken to her.
She also expressed her satisfaction with the results of the year 2023, in particular :
 Côte d'Ivoire's much-appreciated participation in Africa Week, held in Paris from July 5 to 9, 2023;
 the election of Côte d'Ivoire as vice-president of the Bureau of the World Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education at the first session of the Convention, held on July 4 and 5, 2023 at Unesco headquarters in Paris;
 participation in the 42nd session of the Unesco General Conference, held in Paris from November 7 to 22, 2023. Côte d'Ivoire was elected to the Executive Board, the Intergovernmental Bioethics Council (IGBC) and the Intergovernmental Council for Physical Education and Sport (CIGEPS), in addition to electing the Permanent Delegate as Vice-President of this General Conference.
The ceremony was followed by the presentation of computer and communications equipment to the Permanent Delegation staff.
