Green Economy: Are you one part?
The poverty reduction and sustainable development are intimately linked to better protection and environmental restoration. When they are healthy ecosystems generate social benefits, economic and environmental; they also form an important component of risk mitigation of natural disasters and global change.
The green economy can achieve what is, ultimately, the ultimate goal of sustainable development: the well-being while respecting the environment. But alone, it will not do it. Measures adapted to critical circumstances facing the world today socially, economically and environmentally, must be implemented in a systematic and integrated.
These issues necessitate the building of societies \"green\": they must be fair, equitable, and each will find its place. They will encourage innovative and creative solutions to global challenges. This is the roadmap to a sustainable world that offers UNESCO, while the international community prepares for a unique opportunity to advance the sustainability agenda for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio +20) .
We want a future where we can live in a healthy environment by maintaining strong links with nature and social relations rich and diverse. For this, we need to create a thriving environment. We need to create green economies.
