The 5th edition of the Urban Music Festival took place place in Anoumabo from 6 to 9 April 2012. A heavy rain of Stars swept Abidjan for more than three days.

Salif Traoré alias for A\'Salfo, lead vocal of the ivorian band \"Magic System\", in his capacity as Commissioner General for FEMUA oand candidate for UNESCO goodwill Ambassador, this fifth edition is under the sign of Ivorian national reconciliation
Fourteen international artists were invited including the French group Sexion assault, the group X-Mayela from Cameroon, Benin\'s superstar Angelique Kidjo , Werrason from Congo , Lokoua Kanza, Senegalese Coumba Gawlo Daara J.et Nigerian Flavor.
These artists were followed up by Ivorian artists including Magic System.
This 2012 edition of FEMUA undergo significant innovations. There was an off sequence which consisted to promote spaces for expression and exchange between young talents, established artists and music professionals.
These spaces could provide markets for talent detectors. The second innovation was a private concert to be held at the Palace of Culture in Treichville. For the third and latest innovation, organized conferences, seminars and discussions for people to discuss problems that undermine the social sectors, economic and political life of the Ivorian people with resources. For the social dimension of FEMUA, rehabilitation of the nursery of Bouake is the agenda. According to the Commissioner General of the festival of urban music Anoumabo, \"the current order that we put this fifth edition of FEMUA in terms of an invitation to our people to overcome ethnic divisions, religious to cultivate the love and cohesion necessary for building a strong Africa. \"
