Members of the Soroptimist NGO pay a courtesy visit to the Permanent Delegation

On Thursday April 25, 2024, Her Excellency Mrs Ramata BAKAYOKO-LY, Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of Côte d'Ivoire to UNESCO, received a visit from three representatives of the Soroptimist NGO: Mrs Mariam TRAORÉ and Dr Alimata KONÉ (Soroptimist Côte d'Ivoire), Mrs Marie-Christine GRIES (Soroptimist International).
Discussions focused on the organization of the International Day of the Girl, scheduled for October 26, 2024 in Côte d'Ivoire, whose theme is sanitary hygiene.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss Soroptimist initiatives, in particular the implementation of a project to raise awareness and distribute feminine hygiene kits in October 2024.
H.E. Madame BAKAYOKO-LY Ramata praised the excellent work done by the Soroptimists and assured them of the Permanent Delegation's support.
