query_builder 06-03-2024

On the sidelines of the Paris Salon de l'Agriculture, Mrs. Rebecca YAO presented her courtesies to SE. Mme 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗬𝗢𝗞𝗢-𝗟𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮, Ambassador, Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire to UNESCO, Godmother of Riz N'zrama de Diabo.
Indeed, the Riz N'zrama de Diabo processing unit was granted to the Association Diabo Ville Emergente in 2020 by SEMme BAKAYOKO-Ly Ramata, then Minister of Women, Family and Childhood, as part of the Usine des Femmes (USIFEM) project she initiated. The aim of this project was to provide women's groups with processing units to add value to their agricultural production.
This helping hand from Minister BAKAYOKO-Ly Ramata has enabled Ms. Rebecca YAO to further reveal herself as a woman actor in development. For it is around this equipment, the rice processing unit, that she has built a specific empowerment project for women in the Botro department, with the following components:
- Literacy
- Agricultural entrepreneurship (production-processing-marketing) of Riz N'zrama de Diabo.
- Community management committee
- Central purchasing office for food products (rice and vegetables)
- Association Villageoise d'Epargne et de Crédit (AVEC).
Mrs. Rebecca YAO expressed her infinite gratitude and that of the women of her community. "I would like to express my infinite gratitude to her for helping me to discover myself. And for the advice she continues to give me, from Paris, to improve the performance and impact of our project on the development and poverty rate of women in the Botro department", she declared.
